Would this make more sense?

If we made groups depending on locations of where we all live.  Each group would have a 'leader' that would be active in creating playdates for that group. 

I'm thinking it's too hard to organize ONE playdate for most to attend seeing since we're all so far apart.  However I do see there are little clusters of moms that are in the same area.  So maybe if there were a designated mom to create a playdate for the others to join.  and of course ANYONE can post a playdate, it just seems like most do not. 

Playdates do not have to be in your home.  Just where ever you feel comfortable playing.  Park, Mall, Lunch, chuck E cheese, Bounce U. 

So how does this sound?  If we did this, would you be more inclined to attend a playdate, if there were more hosted in your immediate area?

Most of the time I would go. We have just had a ton of dr. appointments recently and it seems like every time I see the playdate I already have something that day. I don't mind traveling though. I think this is a good idea if you can get a mom in each area to set it up.
