My DD is half Hispanic and is starting to wonder about that culture. I'm Caucasian so i know nothing about it.Well not enough. I did some digging on-line for free printable with no luck. PLEASE if anyone knows somewhere i can find free info and printables i would really appreciate it.

My suggestion is to choose a location instead of a social condition. It is very broad to try to teach something as nebulous as culture/heritage. Instead perhaps you could do a family tree, and show where everyone came from....then you could do a lesson (or series of lessons) on that local - holidays, religion, language, etc....depending on the age of your DD, you could also have her interview family members on their memories, or what it means to THEM to be Hispanic.

Her Bio dad hasn't been in the picture since i was 12 weeks pregnant and fled to Plainview TX while i was in labor.Ever since then every time the DAs find him ,to try and make him pay the child support, he quits his job and runs.I've tried to find out more about him but there's ALOT of Estradas out in TX.

Ouch, that blows. Do you know what flavor of hispanic he is? Porterican? Cuban? Dominican? Etc....if not then I'd maybe do some research on the traditions/history of those areas and then do some lessons on those common traditions. You could start teaching Spanish - like the basics.....those sort of things. GOOD LUCK!!
