By the way, if anyone else is interested in avoiding corn syrup but likes the sodas, look for 'throwback' Pepsi products (Dr. Pepper bottles say 'heritage' too). I don't think they will be available permanently. They were sold over the summer and I started seeing them again last week. Coke is sold corn syrup free during the Jewish holiday of Passover (sometime in Spring); look for bottles with green caps. Corn syrup free Coke is also offered at hispanic stores, year round I think.
The difference is interesting. It is the same taste, but the texture is less syrupy and more liquidy.

I thought I posted something before that last one:
Though not all pork-free products will have the label, look for Kosher on the label, because Jews aren't supposed to eat pork either. You also need to find out if there is a sneaky code word for pork and read the labels.
I try to avoid corn syrup so I obsessively read labels.
I think I'm Pepsi Throwback's biggest fan. I gave up drinking pop years ago and then they came out with this stuff. My sister made me drink it when she came back from Mexico (apparently Mexico has delicious pop that tastes like the Throwback). Ahhh it's so good.
I don't know how to describe it other than it tastes less harsh. Mmm for real sugar. I wish they would keep it around.

Yep quite a lot of them, most of the shreaded wheats except the lightly frosted and plain , lucky charms, alot other other name cereals i cant remember off my head that have marshmellows in it and frostings, we have to read them because alot of them contain geletin, and very very few of them are beef, most are pork based....
You'll be surprised where pork is put , in medicines, chips, even in some vaccines i just learned its crazy i dont understand the logic behind that......
We finally just got our skittles free of pork product whewwwww hewwwwwwwwwwwww thanks proud ;)
some companies are changing their formulas and some dont care,
alot dont know its not just muslims who dont eat things with pork based,, vegetarians, jews, christains , etc......so its not a small amount to satisfy its alot....
