As salaamu alaikum mamas..
I'm just curious how many mams have gone on a cruise? I want to go on one in late summer with the family and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced it? I cover my hair, but do not wear an abaya. I want to do a Carribean cruise. I'm just curious if it's not gonna be worth it to go, if I'm gonna get harassed, etc.. I know these are crazy thoughts.. but I just want to make sure. Shukran in advance ;)
I'm a breast & formula feeding, disposable diapering, CIO as a last optioning, babywearing & stroller pushing, selective vaxing, every baby deserves a chance, anti circing, doula loving, working out of home, crazy sock loving, dog & cat having, hair-covering, Allah fearing, hand-sewing, exotic name loving, spanking, time-outing, speak-before-you-think, cyst having, history-loving, online-schooling, you have your own opinions so let me have mine, reverted Muslim mommy of 2 gorgeous biracial girls with different fathers.
wa'alaikum asalaam warahmat ALLAH-
i think a carribean cruise would be similar to the cost of performing umrah, even if you had to save just a little bit more (which you may not have too) why don't you and your family do that instead? the cruise sounds like it might be fun, but visiting the Kaaba inshaAllah would be more fulfilling not only for this life, but for the next. just a suggestion & no need to answer but just think, why not?
