Im in chicago and OMG the snow is just getting soooo old. i cant wait for spring to come around! i have a 3 month old and its soo hard to take her out and bundle her up. even though i always take her out no matter what the weather because i wont let having a baby hold us back from doing what we need to do but its such a pain! all the bundeling and shoveling of the snow and making sure the car is warm enough and ughh its just getting old. and the snow here right now is like NONSTOP! its coming down like crazy! All i know is i cant wait for spring to come around so i can just throw her in her carseat and take off!!!! is anyone else sick of this WINTER yet??? oh and for those of u in like Cali where its like 70 degrees outside NO NEED TO BRAG LOOOOOOOOL :)
I love the winter, i actually just moved from FL, its such a breathtaking beautiful scene and it smells soooooooo good i love it, but on the other hand I HATE TO SHOVEL IT , subhan'Allah we just had in PA (eastern that is ) 3 days ago 25+ inches, i posted pics on the post on rissabush's pics of the first one, now last night and all day today we are getting slammed we already had at least 15+ inches and we are expecting to get up to 28+ by tonight , it is so scary subhan'Allah we have mountains and mountains of snow just on our street and i mean mountains as high as a house subhan'Allah
I live in FL. We get snow from time to time, but it is pathetic. Also, 20 degree weather is actually terribly hard on us, because things aren't built to handle that kind of cold here. We had a week of 20 degrees every day recently, and my heater got so overwhelmed that it just quit. Winter is usually our dry season; we are more prone to wild fires in the dead of winter than any other time. My point? My experience with snow is limited, but we have interesting winters too.
PS. Where did you live while you were down here? I live in the vicinity of Daytona Beach (race week, bike week, spring break happen in that order, starting last weekend.. Bleh. Somewhere in there is BCR, if it still happens)
I in Kansas City Missouri looking out my window at the snow that refuses to go away! We had our first blizzard in almost 30 year this year. In a way, it was exciting but it was kinda scary too. It happened on Christmas Eve so a lot of my family was traveling during it. Terrifying.
But it is very pretty.....for about a day. Then all the road dirt piles up in the nice white snow. We have snow piles that are literally BLACK. YUCK!
I didnt feel the quake it happend at about 430 am but i think it woke up my baby because she always sleeps like 10 hours a night and she woke up at like 445 just for me to hold her and she never does that! but yes everything is ok no one was hurt or anything it was very small and i dont think many people even felt it.
