Assalamu alaikum dear sisters..

Let's have some fun.. close your eyes. and think.. if you could be anywhere this second.. where would that be.. or if you could be doing anything this second what would it be..

you can come back and answer multiple times.. it does not have to be just the one thing  you are thinking about now..

mind you.. in Islam. we are told not to waste our time on " what-if's " .. or idle thinking.. However. we are  human, and sometimes our hearts or minds take us to times, places, or people that make us feel better, happier, or closer to Allah.

sometimes I close my eyes and picture myself praying around the Ka'ba with the clean marble floor pressed against my forehead.. sometimes I close my eyes and feel my mothers arms around me.. sometimes I remember the smell of my babies when they were tiny.. those little stolen moments touch our hearts in so many different ways..

it dose not  have to be anything deep or earth shattering.. you can just share that you would like to be bungie jumping. or horse back riding. or driving an insanely fast racecar. lol

have fun with it..

as for me.. tonight.. right now.. if I could be anywhere. I would love to be at my parents house with my head in my mom's lap.. her fingers going through my hair while she reads Quran and me trying to breath her in so I would never forget that moment.. yes, tonight.. right now.. that is where I would love to be..

Hmmm...at this very moment I would love to be somewhere in a cabin the the mountains. Feeling the cool air against the window panes, sitting next to the fireplace and drinking tea. Love it.

At out new house surrounded by all my family. We've worked so hard to save up for this place and put up with this tiny tiny apt for 3 years now and we are soooooo close to be done with it. I see my husband daughter and I curled up on the couch watching a real fire. I see us sitting on our porch watching our daughter play in the yard. I see my mom and sister coming over to my house for family dinner since I'll actually have the space for us.

Alhamdulillah im so excited about this place. Inshallah we move next month.

I would also love to be with my mother doing yard work. I love her so much and we always have the best time together.

have a kid to pour the love and will love me no matter what i did coz we are now love between mom and kid is unlimited as my mom do it to me ( she already old and nothing can change the way she loves me even husband.. )

Someplace more connected with islam than where i live. They say the grass is always greener on the other side.... But i always feel like my heart wants to be somewhere else. Though it doesnt bother me like it used to, i dont enjoy being a minority. Inna lilahe wa inna ilahe raijun

I have 2: in Morocco with family so they can meet the new baby and first grandchild from their youngest baby; or with my mother for her to spend time with our baby (she's been gone for many years now).

I would be with my grandmother. She has been instrumental throughout my pregnancy  and I miss her terribly. I talk to her on the telephone several times a day to cope (smile).
