We are five years old today... Yay :) question.. how did you find us? what made you stay?

Assalamu alaikum dear sisters.. today we mark the end of our fifth year and the beginning of the sixth insha' Allah.   looking back at when we started.. we were only a group of twelve sisters for the first month or so.. look at us today alhmdulilaah. insha' Allah our original vision of having a safe haven for discussions about Islam has been a successful one.. and I thank you all for taking part in making us who we are today..

let me try to answer :-)

just found by Allah SWT guiding :-) i was joining another muslim group but then not being accepted so much so i keep searching

what made me stay, mashAllah i never been in online group this long more than a year, not being judge for whatever my shortcoming post and reply even though maybe i was rude because of my limited knowledge but in this group it always still accepting for making mistake and fixed without hard feeling after that subhanAllahi could say its a real open minded group under the track :-) mashAllah 

Hope its still an active and non judgemental group in longterm

I found MM through google. I was looking to connect with other women like me. I am a convert and our community is not well organized as far as support for converts and non Arab speakers. I stay because of the knowledge that our sisters have here mashallah. I look forward to reading the posts and responses everyday and I learn something new about my deen every time. Alhamdulilah this group exists!

well..I became a member on cm and i was going through the groups and i tumbled upon this one. :)

what made me stay was reading some of your posts from time to time and it made me more interested in Islam :)

I found this group when I first joined CM. I think I did a search for muslim groups and that is how I found this one.

I stay because I love the sisters here and all the knowledge that can be found here and that there is no making one feel bad if they make a mistake or ask questions.

I sometimes think how crazy it is I have committed to this site for 5 years of my life?
I honestly can't remember how I found it or anything :)
I can't remember the set up on CM way back then! But I have stayed for 5 years and through  2 screen names because we are an awesome group!
