assalamu alaikum sisters,
I would like to start a new 'ongoing' post. Insha' Allah we will start today and carry it out through Ramadan. I will be posting the Arba'een Annawawiyah ( the fourty Nawawi Hadiths) by Imam Nawawi Rahimahu Allah. in Arabic, English, with comments, back grounds, lessons to be learnt and conclusion. The fourty hadiths encompass many of the fundamentals of the faith. and I would like to do them in order starting with the first one about Niyyah ( intention) .. I know we covered it before. but I think it would be of more benefit if we go in the order put up by Nawawi (RA) in his book. this way it will be easier for the sisters to follow with us. and those who don't have the book. will eventually, by the end of Ramadan insha' Allah. have studied it with us.

Niyyah ( intention) in Islam is so important. as it sets your worship as being a worship or shirk. only Allah knows our intentions. so lets make them pure for his sake insha 'Allah.
May Allah make this effort for his sake only. with no pretence. Ameen. oh, Allah make this a Hujjah for us and not against us, Ameen.
to make this easier, this post will contain the links that take you to each individual hadith. each hadith will have its own thread . so we can discuss and comment on without overwhelming one thread insha' Allah.
1- actions judged by intentions ( Niyyah)
2- on Islam, Iman, Ihsan , and Qadar
3- Arkaan alislaam ( the pillars of Islam)
4- On Qadar and creation of man
5- On Ibadah ( worship) and Bida'a ( innovation)
6- On purification of the heart, Hala, Haram and doubtful matters
7- On Naseeha ( sincerity, advice, seeking the best)
9- On fulfilling obligations ( and questioning them)
12- on being concerned with beneficial acts
13- on obligation of loving other Muslims
14- On the value of human life
15- On manners of speech, a Muslim's treatment of Neighbor and guest
16- On restraining oneself from Anger
17- on Ihsaan ( in everything, + treatment of Animals in Islam)
22- On Deeds leading to Jannah
24- On forbiddence of oppression

assalamu alaikum sisters , we are almost done with half of the hadiths. I am hoping that you are reading them. because I am not seeing much dialogue. we need to study these hadiths and take them to heart. insha'Allah.

I hang my head low with shame..
it has been YEARS.. and we have not yet finished studying the hadiths.. Insha' Allah I will rectify this oversight.. and start back on the remainder of the forty Nawawi hadiths.. please chime in with your thoughts, comments.. etc. next hadith to post, is Hadith No. 24 insha Allah
