if you don't follow Sunnah or hadith....

assalamu alaikum sisters, this is just an afterthought to a post I just finished replying to.

if you do not follow hadith. keep it to your self, and don't share that sin with us. and please go and educate yourself away from the garbage and crap that is plastered on the internet planting doubts about the prophet or his companions. using fancy words that hypnotise those weak of heart and mind.

if you take the words of misguided disillusioned, ignorant individuals over the words of the Quran. the prophets and the Sahaabah then there is something seriously wrong with you.

please please please. learn your religion from the right sources. and fear Allah. I don't see you as a smart intellectual when you try so cleverly to convince me why hadith is flawed. I see you as a lost muslimah who is seriously misguided, like a mindless moth running after a light that will burn her in the end. fear Allah sisters, fear Allah,

and last but definitely not least. if you try to share those so called intellectual disputes doubting sahaabah, hadith, sunnah...etc. on this group. they will be deleted on the spot.

links that might help.

Love and salaam (peace)

decide what you will in  your own life and for your own Iman. I decide what stays and what does not on my group.  I too am an adult. and I too made my own decision about this.

If you want to disregard ahadiths..that is  your personal choice . However we cannot allow you to call to this because as you should know  since  you only adhere to Quran, Allah has enjoined on us to call to good and forbid evil.. Surah Al-Asr

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

  1. By time,
  2. Verily, man is in loss,
  3. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds(leave off sin) and exhort one another to Truth(enjoin good and forbid evil actions) and exhort one another to patience.(endure harms that may come your way)

Here is the explanation of the surah... by ibn Kathir

http://www.tafsir.com/default.asp?sid=103&tid=59159

Al-`Asr is the time in which the movements of the Children of Adam occur, whether good or evil.

Malik narrated from Zayd bin Aslam that he said, "It is the evening.'' However, the first view is the popular opinion. Thus, Allah swears by this, that man is in Khusr, which means in loss and destruction.

[إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّـلِحَـتِ]

(Except those who believe and do righteous good deeds) So Allah makes an exception, among the species of man being in loss, for those who believe in their hearts and work righteous deeds with their limbs.

[وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِالْحَقِّ]

(And recommend one another to the truth,) This is to perform acts of obedience and avoid the forbidden things.

[وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِالصَّبْرِ]

(And recommend one another to patience.) meaning, with the plots, the evils, and the harms of those who harm people due to their commanding them to do good and forbidding them from evil. This is the end of the Tafsir of Surat Al-`Asr, and all praise and thanks are due to Allah.

wa'alaykum asalam proud and aasiyah

clapping clapping clapping clapping

as for the other lady spreading mischief one gets a portion of and one who spreads knowledge in the permissable way gets a portion of, what you are doing is spreading mischief may Allah protect all of us from your mischief ameen astagfullah astagfullah astagfullah you are causing so many problems during this ramadan shame on you

being a adult aint got nothing to do with it islam is what it is not what misguided others want

and it is a obligation ordered by Allah if we see corruption or someone being harmed or mislead we should speak with our tongue if not our hands and if not say astagfullah but that is the weakest of all.........what proud and aasiyah did was correct correct correct

i myself will not say another word to you about this because shaytan and you are truly wanting to cause so much fitnah and its ramadan i am working hard enough trying to reep the blessings let alone im not letting u or anyone else or shaytan make me lose any rewards

One of the things that brought me to Islam were the reliable sources in which to base our faith on...alhamdulillah.  It is a fact that the bible has many versions and has been marred by the many revisions that have taken place over the years, making it completely unreliable.  I believe that Allah has protected this deen from such damage; however, there are people that set out to do otherwise.  May Allah protect us from such influences...ameen.

I would just like to say from a convert/revert stand point...we are learning everyday (just like born muslims) and it always takes time to learn and find the right from the wrong... AT THE BEGINNING I DIDN"T KNOW WE WERE SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW THE HADITHS...now I do. So try not to be too harsh on sisters that are NEW to Islam. We are all still trying to find out our path in life.

I feel this is a place to strengthen our imam and our deen. BUT we need to realize that not all of us follow the same path or sect and it takes TIME to learn. I'm not going to point fingers but some of us are too critical on others that are NEW and it might discourage them...I know being a good muslim we NEED to point out the faults...but we also need to do it in a tactful way.

Yes we are all adults and we do decide for ourselves. We are free to post or not to post to ask for advice from our fellow sisters. We are on here trying to enjoy being together at least in words. Me personally if you don't have something nice to say don't say it at all. I have been a convert for only 2 years I don't know everything but I do look to fellow muslimahs to teach me but I also always ask someone in the masjid someone who has studied islam. Sister I really hope you find your way. There is only one way to paradise and that is to follow all that Islam gives you. Peace
