I think that having a new baby, he probably already feels he has lost Mommy/Jaxon time and taking more away is not what I would advise as a consequence.
what kind of things do you normally do during her nap time? Maybe her naptime can be Mommy/Jaxon time, and that would keep him distracted from wanting to wake her?
