How much would you charge for something like this?

I made this for my DD's b-day party yesterday, and I just posted pics on my FB page from the party and I have a friend that wants me to make 2 cakes for her now... one for her DD's b-day in 2 weeks, and the other for her other DD's b-day in October.. I've never made and sold cakes before... sure, I make them all the time, but I never even really pay attention to how much it costs me to make one.. I just know it needs to be done so I do it.lol She said she wants a layered 2 tiered cake like this one, and it has to feed at least 10 adults... this one did yesterday, and we still have some left.lol How much would you charge for a cake like this? And how much would you charge for a cake that is made for someone with dietary restrictions? Would you charge any different?

(Don't mind the pucker in the fondant there on the front.. I was literally fondant-ing this cake a half hour before my DD's party was set to start because of a fondant catostrophy the night before.lol... I'm a MAJOR perfectionist, and if I were doing this for someone else I would make darn certain there were no bloopers like that one).

If it's a simple design, like this one, I would charge 35-40 but that's just me. If you had to make the cake topper or any other specialty pieces I would charge more! Also, make sure you charge extra if they want you to purchase the topper/candle

I would charge $40 to $50 & add a delivery charge if they aren't coming to get it and you have to take it to them

I generally charge about $50 for a cake of that size that is fondant covered. A good way to estimate what to charge is to google prices in your area and then average them and possibly lower your price a little off of theirs to match your experience level.

I have been told that you take the cost of your materials used and multiply by 3. That should help offset your utility costs and your own time spent.
