Hi, my name is Jen. I'm 34 and live in NJ with my husband, Dave, and three children, Emma (12), Wyatt (9), and Sofia (almost 1). After working out of my home full-time, I recently started working full-time from home managing copyediting for a manuscript development house.

I feel like I finally have my dream job--getting to be here with my kids, while continuig to do the job I love. I started this group to meet other moms to share the joys and unique challenges of juggling being a working mom AND a stay-at-home mom at the same time. Plus, we miss out on all the office gossip in the break room, so any and all topics of discussion are welcome! (Well, except for classifieds offering work-from-home opportunities, advertising for jobs, or selling merchandise. There are lots of other groups on Cafemom for those opportunities.)

HI Jen,

I teach in the Associates Program in Human Services for the University of Phoenix. I teach a class in grant writing and another in financial management. It's very fulfilling--in that my passions are reading and writing. Most of the teaching responsibilities center on those two activities. It's also great to see when the students grasp the material and are able to apply it to the assignments. I really enjoy my job!

Hi ladies!

My name is Sabra. I'm 33 and mom to two wonderful boys; Bragan,11, and Kieran,19 months. I stay home with Kieran and work from home full time as well. I'm a life and health insurance broker near Cape Girardeau, MO. I also sell Arbonne, when approached about it. I think I forget about it sometimes because my main job is so demanding!
I just moved here a month ago and don't know anyone except my landlord, so this is really my only place for adult interaction. I attended a local church this past Sunday and am looking forward to getting involved there also. I have been looking for a new church home and hope this is it!
I'm really looking forward to meeting some new friends and sharing advice, prayers and support with other WAHM's! Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the group, Sabra! Funny that a few of us have babies all around the same age! My little one is 18 months, and my other kids are 10 and 13.
