I take my kids to work.  When I can.  I work from home when I can.  This works great during the school year.

Summer vacation is already driving us all nuts and it is only day 4.  What are you doing with your school aged kids while you are trying to get things done?

I'm fortunate to have my mom live with me... so my girls stay at home. My oldest is babysitting our neighbors daughter too... hopefully that will teach her some responsibility...seems to be working. I can't take my kids to work...but wish I could, that way they'd know how hard I work and maybe they'd be more considerate of me when I get home every evening. On the weekend and sometimes during the week, I run errands with them in tow, since I realized they get bored of being at home all the time too.

We're taking a mini vacation to the beach on Saturday, but with my girls' age difference, its hard to find something that interests both of them. My little one is excited to go to the beach, my oldest, not so much... we'll see how it turns out... ** hopefully, for my sake, it turns out good**.

They're still in school until the 18th, but this will be my first summer working from home with them, so I'm nervous! The baby is with me every day, but she's easy. I bought a pool from Walmart--it's 15 ft diameter, 4 ft deep for less than $300! I figure that's going to be the best investment I could ever make to keep the two older ones out of my hair. I'll also make a LOT of trips to the library. Other than that, I think my son will occupy himself with TV and video games and my daughter is always on the computer, so the only conflict will be if Emma wants to play games and Wyatt wants to go on the computer, lol. Emma is turning 13 in a few weeks, so I figure she'll be old enough to bring Wyatt to the park or something if they get really antsy at home.
