Hi Everyone, I'm Janice (MommyJanice44). I've recently taken over this group from MamaRita (she's still on board with us as an Administrator)! The transistion has been a smooth one and I am not planning on any big changes to the group. Why fix something that isn't broken, right? :-)
I have a son Kyle who is 19 who has Autism and so I have a lot of experience in dealing with a child with Autism and also in all the ins and outs of life with Autism. There is also a lot I am learning every day -- but, I am hopeful that my past experiences can help others.
We do have a new siggy -- we actually have a few. But, the one I am using for the group is this:

Congratulations Janice, You will make an excellent Group Owner. I am proud to remain here as an Admin. & help with this group. My husband recently retired with 32 years in Law Enforcement & I don't have as much free time as I did. I am not complaining, I love him being retired, as we are constantly traveling with our new 5th wheel camper to our beautiful Louisiana State Parks.
I started my journey with Autism almost 10 years ago now. I didn't even know the word Autism, until my Beautiful Healthy, Happy, Smart Grandson was vaccine injured from way too many vaccine's way too soon & way too many toxins, not to mention back then all of his shots were full of mercury. I have learned so much in this field with research & from being with Lane. I have also found out that the Spectrum is completely a label, every single child I have met with ASD are different. People in general think of ASD as "rain man" so not true in Lane's case. He will be 12 this coming Nov. still not mainstreamed in school. He lives with pica "rot gut" from the MMR measles breaking out inside his gut the day some brilliant Dr decided he needed 6 shots in one day to completely put him over the edge in left field, where he still remains most days. Having said all of this, please know how much I love that little boy, his smiles, hugs & kisses melt my heart. I know all of you dealing with this, your life is a roller coaster, no day is the same. My heart goes out to all of you Mom's & Dads. I watch my kids faces at times, my heart breaks for them. I will remain Group Owner of Parenting Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder & Janice is an Admin in that group as well. She has been a Blessing to me since the day I met her. I am here for support no matter what the cause or how your child has Autism. I am here for all of you with wide shoulders, Rita
