This is the question i hear most often on a Breasstfeeding forum.  I myself really dont know the answer.  But i thought some of you moms had to have gone through this before and it would be a good post for people who need the help.  Here is a few i have heard of:

  1. Fenugreek (herb found at healthfood stores)
  2. Oatmeal
  3. Brewers yeast (found in dark beer or you can buy it and cook with it)
  4. Pumping

I never thought I'd have a problem with my supply.. I kinda feel... inadequet for lack of a better word. so i will start pumping and supplementing with formula until my supply is up. Is it possible for you to never be able to bring up your supply? I'm terrified of not being able to bf my son..

Also breastfeeding ON DEMAND and letting them comfort suck and not timing how much they are breastfeeding on one side, let them delatch..

skin to skin contact, baby wearing, co sleeping (and making sure you get a nap and sleep as this helps your supply)
