Yay! No hospital trip this weekend...
Kaleb is still sleepy but is starting to wake up a little more. He def lets you know when he has a dirty diaper. Today we made our first family outing to my grandma and grandpa's house. He did not enjoy the car ride but made it through it fine. My family (from out of town) got to see him... The last time they saw him was in Dec 2006 when he was 2 weeks old. He is so loved by many. He opened his eyes a little bit and mad some baby noises for everyone. I am glad that they got to see him again. It was nice to have the WHOLE family together again that was outside of the hospital setting. I am looking forward to more of these days. I can't believe that Kaleb is almost 1! These last three months have gone by so fast and so slow at the same time.
I saw a picture on my moms phone of Kaleb before he was shaken and it made me sad. I can't wait for the day that he makes eye contact with me again and smiles. Please continue to pray for a full recovery for my baby boy.

KALEB IS HOME NOW!!!!
The doctor told us in the beginning that the bacteria in his blood could possibly be a contanimate (sp) and it was!!! THANK YOU GOD! He had two negative cultures and was able to come home. He is very sleepy though because of the Valium that they put him on. He should get used to it in about 2 weeks. But it has helped him tremendously. He is not as stiff as he was before and he actually lets you move him around with out stiffining like a board.
He is getting SOOO BIG!! It brings tears to my eyes to see how much he has grown since all of this first happened. He is 8months old in 12 month clothing! Josh and I were talking about how close his Birthday is and how we still want to have a birthday party at the park. I hope that he is well enough for this. Either way we are going to celebrate like crazy because he survived through so much.
I still ask God to give Kaleb his functions back. I still close my eyes and see that las smile that he gave me before I left him with her... I ache to see that smile. Sometimes when I talk to him now I think I see a LITTLE smile, but I am not sure. He has also gotten 4 teeth! When it cools off down here we are going to start taking him for walks and getting him out in the fresh air. He used to love being outside.
I am sorry if I haven't accepted you as a friend. Unfortunately there are people out there who post very nasty comments on my page about me and Kaleb and the only way I can moniter that is to NOT accept any more friends. It is not fair that a few people can ruin it for everyone so I do appologize. I hope that you understand.
One last thing. I know there are a lot of people out there in a lot of different professions.... With that I was wondering if anyone knew of a service dog agency? I would like to get Kaleb on a waiting list since they are usually a couple years deep. I have read that having a service/therepy dog can work wonders in a disabled person. I would just like some info from someone who knows a lot about it.
Thank you for everything and for everyones support. God is Good.
