Cheap sewing supplies!

I know we all sew, SO I wanted to share a great place to find supplies.  I DON'T get any type of discount or credit for telling you about it, just so you know lol.

I have a sewing and alterations business from home, so supplies are always needed.  When I worked at a Tailor shop (hmm many years ago, before Amber was born), our boss got all our supplies cheap, well I found where he ordered them from.  I have an account with them now, which really only amounts to a name and address, no payment info stuff (I pay thru paypal).  I always get excited looking thru the catalog and website, I always find things that are like "oh I can't believe they have that".  If you sew, you probably know what I mean lol.  Since it's a supplier the prices are cheaper (much in most cases) than Walmart and JoAnns.

This takes you to the sewing section, BUT since they supply to cleaners as well, they have SO much more stuff.  Garment bags and all other clothing and blanket bags, hangers, twistie ties, and all the industrial type irons and such as well AND parts!  YAY..  (I have some extra gown garment bags, I bought a 12pk and sold them for $2 to my MIL and SIL's)

Ok, so here are a few examples of prices, in case you don't really want to go thru the whole place:

Most items you can buy singles of, some you have to buy a pk of.

Brass Pant Zippers $0.36 each. (12 different colors and variety of lengths)

Coat zippers, plastic, metal, nylon, tons of colors, reversable, two ways etc. they start at $1.09 each and go up by length and type

Thread, WOW the thread lol.  Gutermann brand, Maxi Lock as well as many others.  They even have 100% cotton thread for  items you make to sell (and have to deal with the testing stuff).

Those dressmaker hams (they are for pressing in sleeves, look like a ham, picture is here) for $5.  My MIL had just told me she was excited to find one on sale for $7 lol.

I order almost monthly from them, shipping is only $3.28 no matter the weight.  You can order yourself a free catalog too.   Oh I just bought some needles, a whole BOX  Ball Head Pins 1 1/2" (1000)  for $7..  I can finally throw my bent ones away lol..

Just wanted to share..

Happy sewing ladies!
