So what's new with everyone?? PIOG

Our life has taken a major flip flop in the past few months..  Here's a quick run down..

Hubby got laid off in July, permanently, there is no going back (and as strange as it sounds, it really is a blessing)

He gets unemployment, more than he could get with a job around here since they are few and far between.  But it's not quite enough to cover our bills.

I got a job outside the home in July.  Started out at 3 hrs a week and has gradually added more hours and I am now up to 38 hrs a week.  I clean buildings in the eveings.

I homeschool the kids during the day still, and do my sewing for the cleaners.  I have been getting alot of sewing at my door as well.

My SIL and her 3 kids, hubby, dog, cats, lizard moved in with us in Oct.  So I lost my sewing room and it is now crammed in my bedroom.  *sigh*  It has been working out fine with them here, but I do miss my space to sew.

My hubby worked away from home for the past 3 years, so I am very glad to have him home.  I know it's hard to understand for some, but I would rather work the evenings than be a single mom with kids who don't know their dad because the only jobs that pay enough are away from home.  He has missed out on so much of their lives becuase he was gone.  I am tired of doing it alone, so this is what is working for us now.  God has provided and we accepted!  He stays with the kids and does all the house stuff.  I must say I am surprised he does do it all.  He was raised with it all being the other way around.  He had very little interaction with our babies and now he wishes he had realized what he missed out on sooner.  It has taken adjustment from all of us, but I finally feel like my feet are under me again and I can handle it. 

If you know me on facebook, you have probably noticed i'm not there as much either lol, I have it on my iphone for mobile but I'm still not on as much.  So I now have CafeMom Mobile on there as well and am getting used to the newest update..  it makes it easier to use..
