FUN, FOOD, FIREWORKS

Enjoy Fun, Food, and Fireworks at The American Village on July 4th.

Unique entertainment and great food all day long. Enjoy Full Moon BBQ and a variety of other foods. Here the inspiring words of Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson. You can even meet George Washington and other figures from the founding days of our Republic.

Meet colonial soldiers in their military encampment firing their Brown Bess rifles. Let the children play colonial games like Trap Ball and enter Sack Races. Join "Ben Franklin's Water Bucket Brigade." There is even a pie-eating contest for both children and adults. Hear traditional music from dulcimers to brass bands. Enjoy the evening program featuring "The Montevallo Community Band" playing patriotic music, and "The Celebration Choir" singing classic Americana music. See a unique performance from showman "Dan Meyer" a world-traveling sword swallower and fire-eater.

The evening ends with Alabama's best up close and personal fireworks spectacular as The American Village celebrates its 10th birthday and our nation's 233rd birthday.
