Are your kids interested in doing their own hair? And do you let them?

Logan, 6, just became really interested and has been gelling his hair. It is combed straight forward and then the very front is swept to the side. It looked odd in the beginning but it has been perfected and looks better. Cora still lets me do her hair

she tries to do it and I let her til its time to go out and I fix it...she's ok with me fixing it to go places. I figure it doesn't hurt to let her play at home for practice.

just wild looking with clips thats about it.  I keep her big basket of stuff put way up high so she's not always dumping it out, but there are occassionally clips left out.

I keep ours in a basket under the sink, but I find them EVERYWHERE.

DD is 6 and she does her hair only when she is playing or something, but not for school or to go out. And DS is not interested !!
