As temperatures continue to climb, I find myself dreading
my oven more and more. I know that as we move into summer I'll find every excuse
I can to abandon it all together. Of course, that doesn't mean I still don't
need my cookies, and that's where the no-bake version comes in
so handy.
I've made plenty of batches of no-bake cookies over the years, but this recipe from Shugary Sweets that incorporates Nutella are my favorite by far. The creamy hazelnut spread just gives them a little something extra that makes them so good you'll need to make extra.
Nutella
No-Bake Cookies
2 cup
sugar
1/4 cup
cocoa
1/2 cup
milk
1/2 cup
margarine
1 tsp
vanilla
pinch of
salt
1/4 cup
peanut butter
1/4 cup
Nutella
3 cup quick
oats
Over
medium heat, cook sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Boil one minute. Remove from
heat.
Stir in
vanilla, salt, peanut butter, Nutella and oats. Stir until combined.
Drop by
teaspoon on wax paper and cool. Refrigerate.
Eat.
Repeat.
