How do you decide when to go to the ER vs. waiting it out to get into the Dr.?

Depends on what is wrong. Broken bones, severe pain, would be something to go to the ER for.

This...dh wanted to take our DD to the ER Saturday because she broke out in hives. lol He was really freaked out about it.

If it is really bad or after office hours and can't wait- er or urgent care.
When Joseph fell from the top bunk and had a seizure and a concussion, I took him to the er. When he got pink eye, I made him a Dr appointment
