water restrictions

 its so hot here and no rain, they've put our county on water restrictions so we can only water our yards from midnight to 5 am and only on even/odd days according to your house number.  We're on odd days.

I don't think my county has officially announced to conserve, but today several counties across Alabama have made announcements. We are under a warning for asbolutely no burning outside.

We're almost always in a drought in the summer in South Alabama, so I don't understand why they don't just put everyone on odd/even cycle and leave it that way. It seems like it would be better, conservationwise, to do that.

They did that to us several times a year when i lived in Arizona. That really sucks.
