Yes. It's part of out bedtime routine. My son likes Dr. Suess, Winnie the Pooh books, The Backyardigans books and (his absolute favorite) Not Norman. I like to read the Web Files, Click Clack Moo Cows That Type, I love You Stinky Face, and My Working Mom.
We have a whole shelf full that we rotate through, but these are the favorites.

I read our favorite ones more often, but I do rotate through the others. I let him choose between two of the fav books and then two of the not fav books a couple nights later. My husband only reads him the fav books because otherwise he won't sit for him.

Actually I make up a lot of stories more than I read. lol I can come up with some crazy ones, but they like them.

Our favorite one is love you forever, but we also read Disney books and Dr. Seuss
