Two yrs ago one winter I bought my oldest son like, 10 pairs of jeans that were on sale. I bought them in a 7, even though he was in a 6. They had adjustable waist, so I figured he could wear them the next yr.
Well.. last yr(the next yr)he had jumped from a 6 to a 8! lol
So, I kept the pants again figuring they'd probably fit my youngest this yr.
When we moved to this house last May, I put the bag of winter clothes(pants included)in the utility closet in the washroom.
Well over the summer the drain valve for our A/C got clogged and the area outside our house(wall A/C was inside at)flooded. That's how we figured out there was a problem
Easy fix, no problem..
Turns out that utility closet which shared the opposite wall(so Ac was in this closet in between utility closet and the wall to outside the house, if that makes sense)flooded too.
The only thing on the floor in that closet(everything else was on the shelves)was that bag of clothes and my plastic(THANK GOD)bag of photo books.
Being in sealed plastic the photo books are okay, but ALL the clothes(including the 10 pairs of pant)are ruined.. black mildew and smelly:(
The trash bag had a couple small holes on bottom so it got soaked and since we didnt think to check that closet it sat there for the past 5mths soaked..
I'm soooo upset...Boooooo
