That is because the crafters have to account in shipping and a monthly online fee paid to sell their items.

You just reminded me that I have Etsy fees I need to go pay. lol The only things I look at on Etsy are crochet patterns and yarn so I can't say anything about the prices of other things, but what I do look at isn't too bad.

i've gotten 2 things on etsy that were a great price. i have looked for a lot of other things there and not found anything i could afford though too.

I've only gotten hairbows from Etsy, ummm they were pretty, but I was expecting bigger bows for the price. She does have a description on her site, but I didn't read that part before I bought them. But, like I said they are pretty and dd uses them.
