Anyone know (paint question)...

I have a can of paint that I bought probably 2 years ago (oh man, I can't believe it has been that long) that I never used.. You think it is still usable? If it is I am going to take it back to Lowe's and have them shake it back up for me. I've read different things online about the "shelf life" of paint and I got different answers. Anyone used paint after having it a while? I'm not going to use it on my walls, more than likely a project so it's not like I am going to mess up anything major with it.

I have no idea, but my brother said most paint (for walls and such) are good for about 5 years before the chemicals break down. I would call Lowes and ask them.

I got a coupon for a free 8oz sample of paint (that I figure I can find something to use just that much on) so when I go get it I think I will take the can with me. I'll ask them and if they say it should be fine then yay!

If its never been opened its fine.

If its been opened it should still be fine if shaken well.
