Hot Topic (10/13): Harmless high school hijinks or just plain pornographic?
Should this be sold in high school?
A controversial T-shirt was made for a football game between two rivals (Memorial High Mustangs vs. Stratford Spartans in Texas) and sold for $20. Many say the sexually-explicit cartoon it features is beyond offensive.
Although the shirts were not approved by school administration, some parents are still peeved that school officials didn't do more to stop the sale of these shirts.
What do you think ... harmless high school hijinks or just plain pornographic?

Well it is disgusting, demeaning, pornogrpahic and rude, but as long as the sales are not going on in school and the school is not allowing the students to where them at school or at the games, then there is nothing the school can do about it. The parents need to start parenting their kids themselves and quit expecting the school to do it for them. Now, if the school is allowing students to wear these shirts either in school or at school functions, or to sell the shirts on school property or at school events, then they are responsible.

Very wrong. Sad

Check out Jacob's jouney on my home page!
Wow how sad that these students have so little respect for their female classmates. Even if this shirt is showing a rival teams cheerleader...something has really gone wrong with the group that designed this shirt.....I know for a fact that my sons would never condone or buy anything like that...I would be ashamed if my children were involved in this in any way.

And for adults, as well! I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that. And if I saw someone wearing it, well let's just say it would give me a very negative opinion of that person.
Quoting miss146mn:So inappropriate for highschool.

ok that is just wrong wrong wrong!!!!!
We had some suggestive shirts in our high school but it was stuff like
Drummers do it better and things like that no pictures and I thought that was bad. Man, I would never let my daughter wear or date anyone that wore that shirt. The admistration should be all repremended for letting them sale them after they saw them.
