I haven't watched the video yet (have to start the laptop for audio), but I'm certain I won't be surprised. Bumping for you.

This is why I'm glad we don't have a television (okay, I have a very small one in the kitchen that I watch dvd's of Keeping Up Appearances on:) But we used to ONLY have foxnews- unless we wanted to spend $30 more per month for the next 'level' that included the other two. Yea. I noticed early on there were some channels you just couldn't have on with little kids in the room.

Oh, and this particular company also wouldn't carry Noggin, because it's owned by the same people as MTV (when asked about it, the lady said- ''You wouldn't want YOUR children to watch smut like MTV, would you??''). But they had pay-per-view porn, and lots of violent stuff they'd advertise during commercial breaks on Leave It To Beaver. Awesome.

It's pervasive conservative hypocrisy.  I mean just look at the siggies on here.  Some could be considered soft porn.  But often, the moms with those siggies are the first ones doing the anti-choice shtick, gay bashing and the first ones to attack anyone over any supposed moral issue.  It's glaring.

Also, if "FOX" supposedly stands for conservative, christian values, then why in the world does FOX Network have THE smuttiest, most inappropriate, and outrageously degrading shows on TV: their Sunday-night line-up with Family Guy and The Cleveland Show. And they really started the trend with super-exploitative reality shows last decade, and so on. Granted, I watch all these shows, lol, but I'm not a "conservative christian." The disparity really bugs me because even if I don't agree with someone's values, I'm going to respect them standing by their convictions. FOX just seems to know what makes money--and their "values" follow that whim. But, they seem to follow the reasoning that "sex sells"--and the only thing that sells more than outright sex is "repressed conservative with a closeted freaky side they preach against" sex, i.e., the trend of conservatives and religious leaders literally getting caught with their pants down. Not saying liberals haven't had sex scandals of their own *cough*John Edwards*cough* but it's the conservatives who tend to secretly do what they publically denounce.

Well, ya know since conservatives only have sex to reproduce I can see why they would go overboard with the smut...you can look but don't touch...and how else will all the depressed men stay happy?
