I would hope if your 10 year old is ever put in any kind of situation that even remotely compared to this that, that is exactly what someone would tell your kid "Don't throw stones".

Seriously!? So, would your answer be the same, had this been YOUR 10yo child? I can tell you one thing for sure, this mommy would be on the warpath for sure! Yes, my children know better then to throw things at people, BUT if they did, I would handle it, NOT another adult. Especially not at such a young age!

I thought one stupid uncaring reply deserved another. What is good for one child is good for another not to mention if the child had not been a Palestinian and the torturers had not been israelis her reply most likely would have been different.

I wonder if the British in all their empirical glory were advising the young Americans of the same just prior to and during the Revolution?

My reply would not have been different. while it may seem that it is uncaring it's not stupid in the least. It was FRANK & matter of fact. I dont a a rats ass what a person's religion or nationality is. Israeli, Palestinian whatever. As far as I'm concerned they are all the same.
There are consequences for what you do - period. Riddle me this batman - would he have gotten into trouble had he not thrown the rocks? No.
By the way, in this country - for a kid or anyone to be held in custody for that amount of time is not out of the ordinary.

LOL, nice, witty and typical response - who hoo pat yerseff on yer back tootsie 'n when yer hand gits tired pat yerself wit de other one.
Whether you wish harm on my child doesn't matter to me. Too bad you are so myopic that you can't see that I didn't wish any harm to come to that child.
I teach my children that there are consequences for what they say or do. For every action there is a reaction - sometimes one or the other is on an uneven tilt.
If my child does something wrong, I will deal with my child. If the resulting punishment is unfair, I will advocate for my kid - BUT NOT excuse or dismiss his actions.
Why was this kid alone at a demonstration -- you harp on the fact that he was only 10 years old well, where were HIS parents while their kid was off doing things he obviously shouldn't have been doing???
