ESPECIALLY in 1948 I'd say. Too bad we haven't gotten much new propaganda in the interim.

 I do find it ironic that I hear the ‘love it or leave it' argument a lot. Sort of like the ‘everything is fine, everything is fine' snippet. Only, here in America, it's usually those proclaiming they are freedom loving patriots who are pushing this NOT the icky big bad socialists.

 HOW is socialism the enemy again??? Shouldn't we focus on Al- Qaeda? One enemy at a time. One ideological ramrod at a time...

 And did anyone else notice that the people depicted were almost all white?

ANY "ism" can be dangerous when it is not questioned, whether it is socialism or capitalism.

Remember the part in the video where the farmer is grabbed by the big brother hand of the state?  Remember that part?

Well, there is a real example of that today and it is a result of putting capitalism on a pedestal.  Today, the big chemical company Monsanto sues small farmers who save their seeds and acts like a police to the farmers; this is a corporation.  They even sue farmers whose seeds have been contaminated by their own seeds, even if that farmer never purchased their seeds and whose crops were contaminated by their genetically engineered seeds through pollination.

For an example of how Monsanto has been involved in deception and corruption and how they get around it, google: milk, Monsanto, and milk and see the video.

It is truly evil and it is happening. 

As for socialism; it is just like capitalism in that if it is not questioned, powerful people whose interests are selfish and greedy can abuse the system.

There is no true system.  The only thing that is proven is that our lives are way too short compared to the whole of existence.

Like Rumi said, "your life is like a grain of sand but not only that, it is just the moment when the wave hits you."

So, let's make the short lives of ourselves and the rest of humanity a good one.
