I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving - I'm thankful

I'm thankful to have this little forum full of such wonderfully diverse women that hold such different viewpoints.  I'm thankful for those of you that are able to express these viewpoints in such eloquent ways, regardless of whether or not I agree with them - I learn so much from all of you.

And today - with all the strife, famine, wars, poverty, and evil done by one human being to another in this world, I'm thankful to be safe and warm and well, to not have to worry about whether or not my children will eat, that my family is safe.

As I move forward with my day - cleaning my (messy, we've been sick) house and preparing way too much food for 2 people (kids are gone today - got them out of the sick house) I'll be thinking of those that aren't so fortunate and wishing them peace.

I'm also gonna buy a bunch more groceries and drop them off at our local food bank this weekend.

So, thanks to you all, and have a wonderful day.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Jax!  Hope you enjoy your day!

I'm thankful for this forum as well.  I'm thankful that I am surrounded IRL by many wonderful friends and family that love me lots!  I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head and warm clothes to wear in these stressful times.  I'm thankful that I have a group of friends that I've met in this forum who support me through cyberspace.

I'm Canadian, Thanksgiving was in October here so I've already had my turkey and cranberries, etc.

To all, enjoy your feasts and your families!

 Happy Thanksgiving Jax.

I am thankful that I have food today as I know many people out there will have nothing.

I am thankful that most Americans have no true knowledge of what war is and have never had to see the horrors of war.

I am thankful that despite the past I still had my mother and siblings here. I am thankful for my father for understanding I had to do this anyway.

I am thankful that even though things are tough I still have a home.

I am thankful for the many women on this group, all the women in this group regardless of where or not you agree with me.

I am thankful that I live in my town in my state in this country. I may not agree with many many things but the fact is we can make it better and until we give up there is no failure. My country is the people and the people of this country with all their faults and ideas are awesome.
