I do not shop on Black Friday but that doesn't mean I don't find it fun to hear about the things people found.
So, if you went out earlier this morning to load up on the great deals what did you find? Were the deals as great as you expected? Do you only shop for Christmas or do you plan ahead and shop for all the birthdays and holidays for the upcoming year?

We brought toys and clothes for our son and so far we have saved about $100. Were going back out a little later once my cousin gets off of work to buy more things. The deals have been very good especially for toys and clothes. I normally never go shopping on black Friday but were on a budget this year so we could use the savings.
Black Friday would be my worst nightmare! I don't even like going to the mall in July! :)
Last Christmas I bought all my gifts (with the exception of a few from small specialty stores) online. What fun it was to come home every evening to a new package at the door. I got all my shopping done with no stress and I found really unique gifts for people that really suited their personalities and made them very happy!

I don't shop it either. I hate crowds. I just like to get in and out.

I take advantage of the sales, but I'm glad I don't do the whole gift-exchange thing. I think I'd go insane.
I love online shopping! : )

I went to Walmart at 5:00 am with the idea of getting a new t.v. When I walked in and saw a circle of employees standing around a woman lying on the floor, with gauze pads full of blood next to her head, I knew it was not going to be a good shopping day. The televisions were absolutely gone. My MIL, however, scored with a digital camera and a gps system for my FIL. I bought a pair of snow pants for my son and some gloves for my husband. However, my MIL spotted two girls behind the photo center just standing there, so we walked up, asked if they could check us out, and they did. No lines. It was awesome.
Later that day, I went to BJs and got an even better tv than the one I was going to get at Walmart for only 30 bucks more. We now have a 32 in flat screen LCD HGTV in our living room that looks sooooo purty! Plus, we didn't have to fight for one. We just walked in and got it!
