So another child murder...not once, but twice.....what should her punishment be? And no I don't buy for one second her 'accidental' smothering of the infant.
Nev. teen accused in son's murder going to trial
- HENDERSON, Nev. - A judge in Nevada has ruled that the case of a Las Vegas-area teen accused of smothering her newborn son can go to trial.
Justice Court Chief Judge Rodney Burr ruled Tuesday there was enough evidence against 19-year-old Carmela Camero for a trial to proceed on the murder charge.
The Henderson teen told police that she gave birth in a bathtub in her home on Aug. 23. She said the baby started coughing later that day and she became worried her mother would find out about the infant.
Camero is accused of pressing the baby's face against her breast and holding him there until he stopped breathing.
Police say Camero also left the body of a stillborn daughter in a Las Vegas trash bin in 2006.
Camero was 16 at the time, and was not charged.

It's murder either way you look at it, premeditated, or 1st degree. I think it is a horrible crime of killing a child. It's just very heart breaking, they can't defend themselves.
Punishment should be for the offense.
There are so many people that would adopt a little baby.
The first was autopsied apparently as stillborn, they do that on infants to know if the mother is telling the truth. So, its not murder but this one maybe. She was holding the infant to her chest so it really doesn't matter she should still be charged either way accidental or not because she directly led to the death. But, for goodness sakes they need to get this girl some help and perhaps she needs to spend some time under psychiatric care.

Yup.
Yep, nothing accidental about either case from what is written here anyhow.

What should be done with her? She should undergo a psychiatric evaluation first of all. If she's deemed mentally competent, she should be charged with murder.
My soul is so weary of crying out and being ripped up and torn over this constant barrage...I can't take much more of this world...wickedness makes it so ugly.
