I wouldnt......I am lucky enough to have family who will help me if I absolutly needed it, I would never take out a loan like that with HORRIBLE interest rates

I'd go to my family first. But no, I wouldn't... I work with a girl who is so deep in those, and she complains about them ALL THE TIME.

I have a few times when we were broke living in Miami and knew nobody. That was like 5 years ago though. You could only borrow up to 500 and for every 100 you borrowed, you only paid 10. We borrowed 500 alot and ended up always paying them back 550. It was a good place compared to the other that are out there.

I think they should be outlawed to tell you the truth. It's absurd the amount of money they charge. Unless you're starving to death, everything can wait until payday...even if you were starving, there's always a way to get some kind of food. Hell, once I didn't have any money and ate nothing but expired pancakes from a box my Grandma gave me for two weeks. lol I'd rather do that than pay so much interest back, because then you get in the vicious cycle of having to take out loans to cover other loans.

OMG my little brother did this once. He was 18 and apparently it is very easy to get one. He could have asked any one for the cash, anyone in our family would have gladly given it to him. NO he decided to do this and put MY name down as some kind of reference. Sure enough he couldn't pay and I had to pay it for him. Let me just say those people are worse than Mob loan sharks!!
