Sarah Palin: the Pros

I voted for Obama in 2008.  I didn't make that decision lightly, but after much thought and debate.  I liked John McCain early in the campaign, but felt that after he won the nomination, he changed his tune and became Bush-lite.  When Sarah Palin was named as his VP running-mate, that sealed the deal for me that I would vote for Obama.  Ms. Palin did not impress me with her 'simple folk' come-ons and winking.  She can make a good speech, can whip up a crowd, can 'talk the talk'.... but to me, she has no depth.  I have no idea where she stands on the issues or what solutions she proposes - I only know the negativity she feels towards the current administration.

I want a President whose interests are for this Nation and its people.  For those of you who feel Sarah Palin is qualified and capable of being our leader, this is your forum to convince those who think otherwise.  Share with me why you like her and why you are convinced she would make a good President of the United States.

All I know is that she is for common sense solutions. She hasn't explained what these are yet. Something was said about bombing Iran. I'm hoping this isn't one of them.

Based on her words (ending "big government") and her actions (quitting as governor of Alaska so she can better "help the people"), I can only assume that her plan is to get conservatives in office so that they can promptly quit, which would somehow "save America." Otherwise she uses a lot of buzzwords without substance. When asked directly what her plans are, she just throws in some buzzwords about what she doesn't currently like--or changes the subject completely.

I am not a fan, and this is one of the main reasons.  I see her poking fun at the current administration ad nauseam, but what I don't see are her policies or solutions to make this a better country.

Shameless bump for the pro-Sarah supporters.  I'm serious about hearing how she stands on the issues.
