Colbert: "Sarah Palin Is A F--king R*****" (VIDEO)

Using Sarah Palin's defense of Rush Limbaugh against her, last night Stephen Colbert proudly pronounced that "Sarah Palin is a f--king r*****."

After mocking Palin's speech at the Tea Party Convention (taking the obligatory jabs at the notes on her hand) Colbert moved on to Palin's reaction to Rahm Emanuel's use of the word "r*****." Palin not only called for his Emanuel's firing, but also defended Rush Limbaugh's use of the word, deeming it acceptable because it was satire.

After playing the clip of Limbaugh's "subtle" satire, Colbert jumped on the opportunity that his own satirical show presented. An opportunity to call Palin a "f--king r*****." Colbert added that her reasoning also explained the note on her other hand: "R***** = sometimes funny."

I don't see how that is funny to call someone that name.

I love Colbert...but  I cant stand for anyone to use that word...It isnt funny...

And as far as Palin...I knew she would some how justify Rush saying it...She is such a uneducated hypocrite....

It's called satire. If you don't think it's funny, that's cool. It is what it is and I, for one, think it's absolutely hysterical. I can also discern the difference between Colbert's effective use of satire versus Rush's lame attempt at making an excuse for his verbal vomit.

The theme of "it's satire...it's fine" is a reoccurring one today. I will be using this to my advantage. Oh and she is a retard.

What part of "comic" did you miss? Colbert's show is satire. Rush's is commentary. One's intent is to be funny, the other's is to influence public opinion. Get it?

Agreed. Though I've never seen a whole episode of the Colbert Report.
