Do you believe that doctors should be prosecuted for facilitating drug addicts especially those who overdose or should personal responsibility be held in account?

Do you believe in a persons right to their own demise?

Do you think people are falling away from personal responsibility?

Why or why not?

No, I don't think that anyone but the patient should be responsible. I think people want something when they leave the doctor's office. Sympathy, told to do excercises, prescriptions, something, anything. I think people think they weren't treated if they don't have something when they leave.

I do think people have the right to their own demise. I don't like it, I think it's selfish towards those left behind (assuming you're talking about healthy individuals), but I believe it's the individual right.

I think people of all ages are falling away from responsibility. Why? Because the world has become such that it's easy to get away with things, and easy to blame someone else, sue, and make a bundle doing it...even if it was the persons own fault (think McD's hot coffee lady).

No i do not think the doctors should be held responsible or prosecuted.

Do you believe in a persons right to their own demise? Yes

Do you think people are falling away from personal responsibility? Yes

Why or why not?  It seems that lately we hear alot of excuses from people for why they did things.  Or we hear alot of blame.  It is very hard to stomach actually.  It seems to me that is has become easier to blame our parents, teachers, nieghborhood, ethnicity, religion, or whatever instead of looking to ourselves.  We do not hear enough "yes I did it, it is my fault", We hear more "well yeah i did it but it was because...".

I guess I look at ti like this.  Life is full of choices.  And each choice we make has a consequense, some good, some not so good.  If we choose to not give 100% in school thne we will not do very well.  If we do not go to college then we will not get a great paying job.  If we give our job 100% then we will get raises and promotions.  If we choose to live beyond our means then we will have a hard time getting by.  If we do not payments on something or up hold a contract then we lose it.

I pray that my kids learn responsibility from watching me.  I pray they learn  not to make excuses.
