Cell phones, blackberries, all those gagets take attention away from driving!

Sometimes only a picture can get our attention!

Her last call was from a new cell phone...

Do you see the motorcycle?

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately
85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she
Pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the
Motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient
Enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers
And the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them.

The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact
And landed 20 feet from where the collision took place.

All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were
Killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at
The Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department..

Pass this on to car drivers or soon to be new drivers, or new motorcycle owners

AND ESPECIALLY EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS A CELL PHONE!!!!!

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Save a life

Stop talking on Cell phones and Texting while  trying to drive.

The life you save may be your own..... Or mine...

Oh my GOD that's horrible.  I have a crotch-rocket rider here at home; the sight of that bike INSIDE the car makes me shiver.

My 16 yo has her learner's permit - we have been very conscientious about ensuring she knows not to touch her phone when she's driving, and I lead by example and don't do it either.

I'm sorry I had to laugh being that it is you I am talking to on the phone almost every night on my hour drive home from work.

And I will admit and I'm sure you can recall the many times I have been driving in bad weather complaining that I can't see while still trying to talk.

Yeah thanks to you and Paul I have become quite the professional elbow driver. Cigarette in one hand, phone in the other while driving with my elbow ... I bet you did think about me when posting this.

My 16 year old just got his license and one of the rules, if violated is punishable by loss of car for a week, is to keep the cell in the trunk until he gets to his destination.

As an inexperienced driver it is too tempting to pick up the phone for "just a sec" to see who called.

In a small town I will find out if this rule is broken among others and he knows it.

Thanks for posting I wil be showing these to both of my teens. This is reality...MTV not so much.
