Ok, so what baby name did you not use for your child? We had boys, so we never used the girl name that we picked: Madison Shade. Madison (after the President) Shade (my grandmother's last name). So tell me yours.

We didn't use Alice because we had a boy! We are using it if we ever have a girl. And we didn't use James because my hubs wanted a Jr.

I'll tell you the name we are NOT going to choose...

We don't know what we are having yet, but if it's a girl my husband wants...

Persephone.

I have to put the kibosh on that one.

For my son I was going to name him Timothy John, instead he ended up with Nicholas.

For my daughter I wanted to name her Morgan Elizabeth and she ended up with Jessia.

We threw out Henry Asher for my oldest, who became Benjamin Caleb.  For my youngest we were going to go with Wesley Asher, but ended up with Wesley James.  Asher is apparently not in the cards, lol

If soon to be dd# 3 would have been a boy she would have been Lincoln Robert James. Lincoln because we like it, Robert and James are family names. If I had my way, she would be Fynlee...but dh won't go for it. :-(

Persephone? what would be the short form of Persephone? My husband swore that if we had a girl he wanted her to be Microwave ... yes... MICROWAVE... something is terribly wrong with him... but I can't blame him I had my momentary lapse of reason when I said I wanted to name Elijah ... Nicodemus...

I like Persephone...lol

I pushed for Clementine with my daughter, 11 years ago.  I lost and we had an Olivia.

My 18 y/o I wanted to name Malachai, and had a Samuel.

Sometimes it's for the best.  Like the Mullet...who knew
