Go to the link. Take the test and be honest if you passed.

All this talk about illegal immigration got me to wondering how many of us who were privileged enough to be born here actually could pass it.

"You answered 85% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:"

85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)

That was mine.

My American History sucks.  Have always HATED American History.

Ironically....my DH MAJORED in US Government at one of the four service academies.  Had he been here to coach my answers...I would have got 100%  LOL!!!

You answered 100% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:

0-20%: Maybe you're still thinking too much about the Old Country.

25-40%: Mmmm. Do you really want to be a citizen? This kind of performance isn't going to impress those nice immigration folks.

45-60%: Not too bad, but you really need to break out the civics books again -- word is, the INS is looking for an 80 percent score.

65-80%: Hey, you may make a good citizen yet! Look at your wrong answers and a little revision should do the trick.

85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)

I scored a 75. Our public school district was not known for being a great one. When I got to college, I really had to work to catch up to kids who had gone to great public schools. I guess it still shows to this day.

Give me a life science question or ANYTHING related to healthcare.  That is my field.  Poly-sci and I are NOT friends:)

Thanks for fessing up!  At least neither of us is alone in being the low ball on the totem pole:)
