40% of Norwegians: Ban Israeli products

Posted by RORCoalition on Thu, 06/03/2010 - 08:37

AFP [YNet] Survey conducted two days after deadly Navy raid shows 9.5% of respondents already boycotting Israeli products, while 33.5% would like to. Head of country's Socialist Left party calls on international community to boycott arms trade with Jewish state

More than 40% of Norwegians are already boycotting Israeli products or are in favor of doing so, according to a poll published Wednesday, two days after Israel's deadly raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla.

The survey, conducted on Tuesday by the InFact institute and published Wednesday in the Verdens Gang tabloid, showed that 9.5% of the Norwegians questioned were already boycotting Israeli products, while 33.5% said they would like to.

Only 29.4% of the 1,028 people polled said they were opposed to such a boycott, while 27.6% said they had no opinion on the issue.

Kristin Halvorsen, Norway's health minister and head of the Socialist Left party, called on Tuesday for the international community to boycott arms trade with Israel, in line with Norway's existing policy.

Norway on Monday summoned the Israeli ambassador in Oslo, condemning the raid as "unacceptable" and calling for "an immediate, independent international inquiry."

Three Norwegians were among the 682 people from 42 countries aboard the six ships that were towed to an Israeli port after Monday's bloody raid that left nine pro-Palestinian activists dead.

The Norwegians were expected to soon be expelled from Israel along with hundreds of other foreign nationals, authorities in Oslo said.

I don't want to sound stupid, but how many Iraeli products are there?  I don't think I've come across anything stamped "made in Israel."   What does Israel export?

For starters, the intel plant is located in israel, and on "controversial" land, as they say. Which really means, they stole land from the Palestinians and built a factory on it and threw the displaced Palestinians in refugee camps. I think intel is one of the hardest israeli products to boycott because we all use it in our computers. You won't necessarily see "made in israel" on the product but many companies send profits to israel. There are way more products to boycott than you might think. Starbucks, McDonald's, Sara Lee, Coca Cola, etc. It's a big long list.

No you don't sound stupid at all. Thanks for asking.

You would be surprised these people got their hands in everything you can imagine.

Especially the majority of companies and products used in the U.S.A. it is almost impossible to find any are not either israel or support israel and run by Zionist.

If the product comes directly from israel it will have this bar code

Check the first 3 digits from the LEFT.

Example, an israeli product will have barcode like:

 729 3453459070

Have you ever heard of a grocery store called Alde? Most if not all their produce comes from israel.

Starbucks, Motorola, Hanes, Home Depo, Disney, 20th Century Fox, CNN, JC Penny

Here are some other israeli or israel supporting run by Zionist companies and products

Unless it is an absolute necessity that I absolutely have to have like Internet connection then I refuse to give them greedy bastards a single extra cent. I have through several different organizations promoted and educated on boycotting israel for years and I am not about to stop even if it were to cost me my right arm.

Even before the major increase of israel boycotts that has started in the last 2 weeks our boycotts were already having an effect on them. A report just came out earlier this year that israeli companies would have to raise their prices to off set the effects of israeli boycotts.

Now they really have problems. in addition to the concerns they already had about the impact of the boycotts now they have huge unions in several countries across Europe and Africa boycotting them and denying them shipping and receiving rights in addition to several universities in the U.S. and Europe not to mention how Turkey has just put an end to their water/energy deal they had with israel

Entertainers from the U.S. and Europe both are boycotting them and have cancelled several concerts, festivals, and other shows causing a cultural boycott not to mention theaters in Europe who have canceled showings for israeli movies.

France is one of them and when they cancelled the israeli movie they replaced with a documentary on Rachel Corrie who was an American savagely murdered by the israelis.

israel is so worried they are now in the process of passing a law that anyone known to boycot them will be denied visa or traveling rights to israel for a minimum of 10 years.

So all you supporters.... Keep Boycotting israel

What a Godly thing for Israel to do.

Falafel is Arabic... actually originates in Lebanon. I'm sorry to say but after almost 20 years of making and serving it I am not a fan, never was in the first place but now the smell of it is embedded in my nose forever.

Same here. I think they're going a little overboard with these boycotts. Its too much if you ask me. I will still be using these products guilt free and with no sleepless nights.  That dress I have been eyeing at the Limited that I have been planning to buy this week for a night out  will still be bought and my husband is at Starbucks and Home Depot practically everyday. I don't think the boycott will go on for too long or gain popularity where I live. Everyone i know buys from these companies and my son loves Disney.
