Interesting. Both of mine were C-section babies - 1st emergency, 2nd bc she was born just 11mos later, too close for doing VBAC - and they're healthier than most of their peers. Maybe we're countering these supposed effects with their diet?

*ETA: Not saying I'm better than anyone, just that I think there needs to be more research about what "skipping the slide" does or doesn't do.

 That is interesting. Woman get tested for a certain bacteria in the vaginal track right before by irth and if it is present they get antibiotics. This would throw off the natural balance of bacteria I would think. As a side note if you raise chickens I read to have baby chicks on the ground before 3 weeks to expose them to certain bacteria so they will be healthier. Sounds like the same theory.

That is interesting. All three of my kids were X-sections and I count my blessings that my kids are healthy.

eye rolling and here we go with the "but my kids healthier than so and so" same as with the formula posts.
