(NEWSER) – Among the hundreds of millions of people on Facebook, you will not find Sasha or Malia Obama. In an interview with the Today ShowMichelle explained that there are some things her kids can't do because of security issues—but even if they were just two normal kids living in Chicago, they wouldn't be on the site. Michelle, who is "not a big fan of young kids having Facebook," says Facebook is "not something they need." Maybe when they get older, she added.

I agree with her. I would worry about Malia and Sasha being on facebook.

Off topic, they have done an amazing job protecting the girls privacy. :)

I don't think it is as much a security issue as to protect their self image. Could you imagine what people would say to them given what is already being said? The public and news are cold and harsh and those two girls do not need to hear all that crap.

I am not in favor of young kids having facebook. None of my kids do.
