What happened to competition?

Everything keeps merging..its evenutally gonna be a conglomerate of BS, you will be able to get your teeth cleaned and renew your car insurance al in one office

I HATE AOL, and will probably give up my yahoo.com email address if they merge.

 Interesting article.  Not so much about AOL and Yahoo, but just about the companies out there merging, or wanting to merge.  TMobile w/ AT&T comes to mind.  Less competition is bad for consumers.  Of course, it will all be owned by the government when it comes time for a bail out.

 I remember back in the day when I had AOL you had to practically hire a hitman to get your account cancelled.

The only thing of Yahoo i use is Messanger and i still have an AOL email account i use for crap

Me too. I remember getting them AOL discs all the time, in newspapers, handding them out at retail stores, etc. By the time AOL 5 came out 6,7,8,9 popped out right behind them..I do miss that *You got Mail* though lol
