Ok I know not all people like the Twilight Saga, thats all good and fine, BUT really in this ecomoy and such the series has taken the small town of Forks Wasington from a struggling logging town to a popular tourisit(sp) destiation, same w/ La Push, the same thing happened in Livingston Montana when they filmed "A River Runs Through It" its still bringing people whom have read the book and seen the movie, so I guess what Im saying is should we as a country help promote things like this to boost tourism to states?

What specific actions do you mean by "promote"?  The book/movie is already promoting the town.

Do you mean something over and above that?

Im guessing what Im asking is should we as a country attempt to make the US more "attractive" to film movies in thus bringing more money to the US and such

Not as a country but each state can agree with tax breaks for film companies.

It could help the local economy and yes more states and cities should but they shouldn't be forced to.

I know Vancouver BC has done this and they get more films done there then we do in Seattle.

Sure they can complain all they want but complaining won't get them anywhere.

I stayed in the motel from Officer and a Gentleman once, about 20 years ago.
