I just saw on the news gas prices will be going up...grrr
I just saw on the news that by summer gas prices will go to upwards of $5 a gallon. Right now gas prices around here (Georgia) are $3.50. So if you live in places like New York or Chicago where gas is even more than this, expect that to go way up also. How are we going to survive? This will make food prices skyrocket also. Food has already gone way up. Our grocery bill used to cost us $150 a few years ago, now costs us $250 for the same foods we always get! How do you plan to get through the summer with prices like this assuming the info is correct? I swear, we are going to have to make our own vegetable fuel, and have our own garden, that is until the gubmint deems that illegal. There is already a bill in congress that seeks to forbid people from having their own garden due to "safety reasons". ugh! Thanks Obammy and our do nothing Congress for screwing us over yet again!
It is what it is.... gotta get around somehow unless you plan to ride a bike or walk... So they can screw us anyway they want..... I live in Ga.... I paid 3.56 today.... ): Just gonna have to combine alot of my trips into one day... Pretty much made this a habit a few years back...

I think they WANT us to go back to biking or walking in order to decrease emissions in order to make the epa happy. Just take us back to the pre car age in the early 20th century. Sounds great. We are not getting more prosperous we are going backwards.
and yet we can't build Keystone or nuclear plants
They say that every year. I don't think that happens to the majority of places.
Great.. everytime the price of gas goes up, the food prices do too!!
Lol.. if they could regulate and tax our back yard gardens they would. :)

totally agree. keystone would have been a great thing for us and actually help us. Obama voted that down also.
yeah the bottom of the line cheap stuff was $3.99 today and the mid-high grade is way into the $4's out here in SoCal. Ouch!
