White House residence staffer may have lost fingers
A White House household worker suffered an on-the-job injury Tuesday and may have lost some fingers.
"There was a minor injury with a member of the residence staff — an ambulance was called out of an abundance of caution," an administration official said.
After a call about what was described by D.C. Fire/EMS spokesman Lon Walls as a "possible amputation of one or two fingers," a man was taken, the man was taken to Washington Hospital Center as a "priority 1" patient, meaning that his condition was classified as life threatening.
Walls said he wasn't certain of why the injury got such a serious classification, though "I would assume ... that you probably had a loss of blood" in the injury.
anybody know any more info about this?
