All Joking and snide remarks aside This came across my Facebook and i wanted to share it.. Its kinda long but its a Preview of the full length Movie.. Only one of the 3 kids is Gay and being bullied for it.. the other 2 kids are being bullied for being "different" Lately there has been alot of fighting on this board.. Many Fail (by willful choice or not) to see that their words and beliefs have the power to Kill, harm and damage children. These kids who bully Learn it from home, from their parents and many of the parents dont even realize it (others do) We need to realize that we might not agree with something but out actions, lack of actions or what we say when we think our kids arent listening have the power to allow bullies to be born.

It broke my heart as well and it breaks my heart listening to some moms on here sometimes... my heart hurts for the kids effected and how little their mothers/parents doesn't give a shit about how hurtful they are until its too late

More then will own up to it sadly.. as long as their children are preaching the bible and hell and damnation its not bullying its doing gods work.. it doesn't matter that the intolerance they are teaching is leading to more and more deaths because the only good gay is a dead gay

I know gay bullies as well. Not just gay kids get bullies and not only Christian kids do the bullying. Its a bigger problem than that.

Wow, I cried watching this.  I have a child who's different, I worry about him.

I totally agree with you about the parents having some responsibility.  How hard is it to let you kids know that they need to be nice to everyone.  Tell them that they will have to answer to you if you hear of them bullying.  Let them know that this is important.

My ODD now 23 went her entire 4th grade yr being bullied. I was at that school @ least 3 times a week if I wasn't substitute teaching there! The principal kept passing it off as kids will be kids. She came home one day with bruises on her back from the plastic lunch tray as the girl was behind her in lunch and kept hitting her with it, One time in the bathroom she slambed my daughters fingers in the stall door. STILL the teachers and principals did NOTHING! I finally told my DD to kick her a$$! (I normally do not condone fighting) but she had to defend her self. She said she would get "written up and in trouble" I said like hell u will! U know that girl never did fight back, for fear of getting in trouble! I finally was talking to a friend of mine, that is a lawyer, he told me about some type of form to press charges(it's the school's responsibilty to keep her safe) I had every thing documented. THEN and only then, when I went in to talk to both the principal and asst. principal(who didn't know anything about it!) they took the girl out of my DD's class! (there was 3 weeks of school left!) The next yr. our state came up with "The bulling law".  When I had a class, I never allowed any type of name calling or fun making on anyone!

I'll take a look at this when I'm not at work.  I think you're absolutely right that bullying starts in the home, whether parents realize it or not.

My son was bullied for a few years.  I was bullied in Middle School, so I guess I was able to help him cope and deal with it.  I guess it's worked since they leave him alone now.  My daughter is currently working on a play for the LGBT group at her high school about bullying.  She plays the main bully, but I'm so proud of her for taking the initiative to help spread awareness.
