Report: Chris Brown Helps Rihanna Celebrate Her 24th Birthday Party
Chris Brown and Rihanna may well have put their troubled past behind. Three years after Breezy got arrested for assaulting Riri, words came out that he was invited to his ex-girlfriend's early birthday party at the Hearst Mansion in Beverly Hills on Monday, February 13 night.
Celebuzz confirmed that the "Wet the Bed" singer was indeed in attendance, while British tabloid Daily Mirror went further by quoting a tweet from a reported guest. "All I can say, CB was invited and she [Rihanna] was acting like the happiest girl on her birthday and probably got what she asked for," wrote Katia C.
Riri herself won't turn 24 until February 20, but her Caribbean-themed party was attended by around 100 of her friends and family members. PEOPLE reported that the guests, including Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Coldplay's Chris Martin, were treated to a Caribbean-style dinner and Sprinkles cupcakes decorated with Barbadian flags.
At around 2 A.M., the "We Found Love" singer was presented with a custom birthday cake, which features an image of her lying on her stomach in a red bikini bottom over a giant seashell. More than 20 bottles of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne reportedly were also brought out along with the cake.
Words that Breezy came to Riri's birthday bash came in the midst of criticism over his Grammy appearance. A day after the 54th Annual Grammy Awards was held, celebrities like Miranda Lambert and Jack Osbourne expressed their disbelief that Breezy got to win Best R&B Album and perform twice.
In response, Breezy tweeted on Tuesday, "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F**** OFF!" He later came out with another tweet that read, "I'm so OVER everyone's opinions.. Really!!!" The "Next 2 You" singer has since deleted both tweets though.
Can't we all just get along let bygones be bygones?
I'm going to go tweet about how much disdain I have for Chris Brown RIGHT NOW!
hmmmph -flips hair-
People need to get over it already, everyone acts like Chris Brown did something to them when it was just between him and Rihanna and they just happen to be public figures. If she is over it then everyone else needs to be too.
That being said, he does need to grow up. His tweets are childish.

People need to just let them live their lives, he is dealing with it, he is dealing with his legal obligations, he made a mistake. I do not condone what he did, however, he is doing all he is suppose to and if she sees that and chooses to stand by him then so be it.
How is any of that affecting your personal life?
If she the so called "victim" (the whole relationship was abusive) can get over it and move on, why can't the public?

I'm actually impressed that some people are sticking to their guns. He fractured her jaw, put her in the hospital, and now they are celebrating life's milestones together? She is an example to many people, as is he-do you really want your kids solving their problems like breezy over there?

Live and let live.
People need to get over it. Chris made a mistake, so did Rihanna. If Rihanna can get over it, why can't everyone else? DV isn't okay, but Rihanna isn't moping around and constantly whining about what happened to her. Neither is Chris.
Why are you all labeling him as an all around abuser? It's only been ONE recorded event.
Why is it that no matter what someone does to recover and make a positive change, they can never live the negativity down?
1) I'm a human being and care that there are people getting hurt by atrocities over and over again.
2) I have cousins who really look up to this girl and despite what i say to them they just might come to the conclusion that as long as the man is remorseful a girl should take an abuser back.
3) I know what it feels like. I had my own Chris brown throwing punches at me for 6 years. And I still hate that I stayed with him for so long but I felt so alone and that everyone was watching, but no one would help. No one deserves that.

Celebrities are just people, nowhere does it say that they need to live their lives as perfect examples to others, they didn't sign up to be role models..they are just people. Kids should be looking up to better people anyway. I'm sorry you had your own experience with domestic violence but that's your own...and that was hers..everyone deals with it differently. You are putting your own feelings into their situation which is understandable but not necessarily okay.

There are a few things you should know:
1. I agree with your first statement. :)
2.I understand that you care about your family members, I care about mine. :) However, CB and Riri aren't in a relationship.
3. I'm truly sorry that happened to you. ![]()
I just don't think it's fair to label him as an all around bad guy. He has shown signs of improvement. Yes, he's very immature in many aspects of his life. However, people aren't letting him live it down.
I really do believe that if CB started a non-profit and everything else for DV victims, he still wouldn't be accepted.
Why is it that in general, a person's negative image is all that stays with them?
